The Wellesley College Centers for Women has posted reports and other information produced by its Battered Women's Testimony Project, focusing on battered mothers' fight to service the family court system and, in particular, documenting the human rights violations they suffer when they fight against their abusers for custody of their children. The research addresses practices of the Massachusetts family courts and victims' experiences in those courts, but the findings could be replicated in the family courts of many other states.
