Voices of Women Organizing Project
The Voices of Women Organizing Project, known as VOW, is the first initiative of the Battered Women's Resource Center, a nonprofit that works to empower survivors of domestic violence. VOW supports survivors of domestic violence as they lead efforts to end violence, shape policies and improve services for battered women.

- Divorce: A Guide for Women
Designed to acquaint women considering a divorce with general information about divorce and the law. Provides women, regardless of circumstances surrounding their divorce, with knowledge and resources to help ensure that their children, health, finances and safety are secure. (2000)

Provides information, tips and resources regarding the specifics of child custody when domestic violence is an issue, applicable state and inter-state laws, Parental Alienation Syndrome, and the impact domestic violence has on children. (2006)
- Guide to Court Watching in Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Cases
Provides information and resources about developing a court-watch program for domestic violence and/or rape and sexual assault cases in your community. This information can also help individuals interested in establishing a court-watch program for any issue. (2006)

An introduction to the judicial complaint process, which may be used when an individual believes that a judge presiding over her/his case acted inappropriately. (2002)
California NOW's Family Law Page
The website of California NOW is a highly recommended site for NOW members and family law litigants and activists. CA NOW recognized early the crisis in the family courts—inequitable rulings on divorce, custody and child support—and formed a statewide Family Law Task Force to investigate and reform the system. This site presents NOW's 2002 Family Court Report, news, articles, books, legislative success and information useful for women regarding gender bias and current trends in the courts nationwide. CA NOW's grassroots strategy is to create a clearinghouse for all information that will support women and children getting justice in the family court system.

This is the home page for the Davis, California, based group of mothers whose children have been abused and ordered to live with their abusers. The site provides general information on a number of topics and issues including: the dynamics of and responding to child abuse, navigating the court system, conducting oneself in court, and selecting an attorney. Links to other informative sites are also available. Membership is free and reserved for protective mothers who may access online support, exchange stories and share experiences and strategies.
Uncontested Divorce Online Legal Document Service
This website provides general information about divorce and legal forms for persons in uncontested (i.e. agreement on everything including getting a divorce, custody and visitation involving minor children, and property division) divorces. It also provides responses to frequently asked questions, legal articles as well as news and updates.
NY State Supreme Court Office for the Self-Represented
This is the website for New York's civil court's Office for the Self-Represented. Individuals representing themselves can access information on the services the Office provides, what to do when you do not have money for filing fees, etc., general information about representing yourself, information on how the civil court operates, directions to the courthouse and information on judges.
California Protective Parents Association
The Mission of the California Protective Parents Association is to protect children from incest and family violence through research, education and advocacy. Especially useful are their resources and research links.
Self Help Support
A member-only website (one can join) and virtual meeting place providing numerous resources and links to practitioners involved with self help programs, with contributions by a number of reputable organizations. Individual pro se litigants/people seeking to represent themselves are directed to other resources/links.
